Brand & styleguide
Charter, not costume.
Allodix takes its visual register from the medieval charter: the document that made land allodial, owned outright, free of any overlord. The gravity of that document, rendered with modern editorial restraint. One medieval cue per view; never a renaissance fair.
The mark
The wordmark
The primary logo is the Allodix wordmark, set in a modern flared serif and shipped as
outlined vectors (master files in public/brand/). The capital A doubles
as the standalone app mark for favicons, avatars, and any square placement where the
full wordmark will not fit.
Single colour only: Sovereign Ink on light grounds, Paper on dark. Clear space of at least the cap height on all sides. Don’t stretch, recolour, add effects, or re-set the name in another face. Below ~24 px of height, prefer the app mark over the wordmark.
Colour
Ink on parchment, amber as rubric
Anchor layouts in Ink and Paper or Parchment. Signal Amber plays the role red ink played in manuscripts, rubrication: it marks initials, actions, and emphasis, and it is the only loud thing on a page. Free Green appears at most once per view, signalling the open-source, “owned and alive” idea.

CORMORANT · HEADLINES & DISPLAY
AI you own. Outright.
Owned outright, free of any overlord.
INTER · BODY & UI
We help organizations put AI to work: built on open source, running on your infrastructure. Plain words for business leaders; jargon is where bad decisions hide.
SPACE MONO · EYEBROWS & NUMERALS
Sovereign AI consulting
Art. VIIThe engineered-credibility cue that quietly links Allodix to its Agiledrop lineage. Uppercase, tracked wide, never for body text.
All three faces ship with the site via Fontsource. A brand about self-hosting does not load its type from someone else’s CDN.
Apparatus
The charter toolkit
CHARTER FRAME
A fine double border for framed panels, the ruled margin of a manuscript. Use for cards that carry commitments: offers, terms, the contact form.
RULE WITH DIAMOND
The scribe’s section divider. One per page, near the end.
ILLUMINATED DROP CAP
Long-form charter text opens with an illuminated initial in Burnished amber: one per document, on the first paragraph only, exactly as a rubricator would have placed it.
THE SEAL
THE ARCH · STRUCTURAL METAPHOR
The stack you own, drawn as a stone arch: data, models, servers, people, locked by the ownership keystone. The one illustration the brand needs.
Actions
Buttons
Square corners everywhere; stones are not rounded. Amber is reserved for the one action that matters on a page.
